Sure, Timberlake Reservoir is just a very short distance away. Much rainfall falls at Pool Nine; the month with most of the rain is May while January is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this site. Lock and Dam Number Nine is gorgeous and       it's in the neighborhood of Pool Nine, and if you've had enough of Pool Nine, Payne Lake is close by. This lake is so wonderful. Pool Nine is delightful enough to spend more than a day at, Morrilton Koa Kampground is a delightful local campground, and if you don't mind getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Galla Creek.
