The warmest time of the year at Peter George Lake comes with high temperatures in the 90's, and the overnight is fairly cooler of course, mostly in the 60's. Through the wintertime highs are typically in the 40's with temperatures at Peter George Lake dipping down into the 20's through winter nights. Peter George Lake sees pretty high levels of rainfall; most of the rain falls throughout       May, and January is the month with the least moisture. These mountains rock, just look at all the cool stuff to do in the Ouachita Mountains. Paddling on Big Shoal Creek is so much fun, and Peter George Lake is not the only site close by, Bogs Lake is a close by lake. This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Spring Lake Campground is always a tremendous experience, and this is a popular place for people from Russellville. This lake is so wonderful.
