You can run the rapids of Jack Creek close to Parker Lake, and if you're looking for some flowing water? Try Little Sixmile Creek. Parker Lake gets a great deal of water; of all the months in a year May is the one with the       most rain, and the driest month is January. While you're here at Parker Lake you can play some golf at Cherokee Creek Golf Club, and a magnificent site for whitewater paddling is Sugar Creek. This lake is so wonderful. Near Parker Lake you discover the Magazine Hiking Trail which is a great hiking trail, and a brilliant site to take a look at close by is Ferguson Valley.
