Buffalo Bend is an interesting place to visit while at Oxbow Lake, and you can stay the night at Hudsons Landing Campground. High temperatures at Oxbow Lake through the days of summer are in the 90's, and the nighttime is slightly colder of course, mostly in the 70's. Through the winter highs       are in the 50's, and all through the dark hours in the wintertime at Oxbow Lake temperatures plunge to the 30's. Oxbow Lake is a reasonably wet place ordinarily with lots of rain; the month of March is the wettest with most of the rain while August is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful.
