There's so much to do here at Otter Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Swinging Bridge Trout Dock is a magnificent spot for that; there's whitewater on Bayou Des Arc River for all you adrenaline rush seekers. You're sure to stumble upon some cheerful folks from Searcy here; Searcy-Days Inn is a tremendous spot to get some rest. Otter Pond gets lots of water; the month of May is       the wettest with most of the rain, and January is the month with the least moisture. You think that's enough? Just getting warmed up. Throughout the summer months at Otter Pond highs are frequently in the 90's. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 60's. Throughout the wintertime the highs are regularly in the 40's; during the dark hours in the wintertime at Otter Pond temperatures dip to the 20's. This lake is one of the great places                  here in the Boston Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. If you came to camp Spring Mountain Retreat is a good location to do that; why not take a little spree to Brier Creek if you're here. Be careful coming to the Boston Mountains, you might not ever wanna return home again.
