And that's not everything you can do here in the Boston Mountains. A pleasant close by hotel is Days Inn Searcy. Lakes are wonderful; Chavell Lake Two is a lake that's near Otter Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Big Creek, and needless to say, this is a great area for folks who like lakes, Wyldewood Lake is a lake in       the vicinity. Summertime highs at Otter Pond generally tend to be in the 90's while nighttime lows are mostly in the 60's. For the period of the wintertime the highs are mostly in the 40's while Otter Pond night low temperatures during the wintertime are in the 20's. This lake is located in the wonderful Boston Mountains. There's just no way somebody can get bored here at Otter Pond. If you come at the right time of year, Bayou Des Arc River offers some wonderful                  whitewater; camping is available at Whitney Lane RV Park. Camping at Wyldewood Retreat center & Summer is always a splendid experience, and after a long day outdoors Hampton Inn Searcy is a pleasant spot to spend a night or two. Just can't get enough of the Boston Mountains.
