Open Lake is a rather wet place generally with a lot of rainfall; during the month of May you get the most rain around here, and the driest month is January. This lake is so wonderful. Why not camp at Lewisburg Bay RV Park since you're here at Open Lake; there's whitewater on Lake Norrell Spillway for all you thrill seekers.       Days Inn Morrilton is a tremendous place to get some rest, and while you're here why not explore Caney Creek. So much entertaining stuff to do here at Open Lake, too perfect to be true. If you need a place to stay Scottish Inns Morrilton is a perfect choice; you can run the rapids of Cedar Creek. Summer at Open Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 90's. Throughout the moonlight hours it's generally in the 60's.
