The Boston Mountains scenery is always beautiful. This lake is so wonderful. A wonderful nearby hotel is Little Switzerland Cabins. There's so much to do here at North Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Yanasochee Campground is a magnificent place for that. You clearly ought to love the Boston Mountains. Do schedule some time to stop at Buck Point in the neighborhood of North Pond if you have a chance,       and don't forget to take a good little trip to Hoskin Creek. This lake is so wonderful. The smiling people of Harrison like to hang out close by; whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Buffalo River. Man, is there heaps of entertaining things to do in the Boston Mountains. Family Budget Inn is a pleasant place to get some rest, and Sawmill Hollow is another brilliant place to visit nearby. If you came to camp Top                  Of The Mountain Park is a glorious site to do that; you can go for a hike on the Hurricane Trail. Summer brings highs in the 80's to North Pond. Summer nighttime lows fall down to the 60's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 40's while North Pond night low temperatures during the winter are in the 20's. Going for a hike on the Alum Cove National Recreation Trail is always a tremendous adventure, and Briar Bluff is something you shouldn't miss if you're here. A spree to Buffalo National River is worthwhile. You believe that's enough? Just getting warmed up. You don't must go far from North Pond to enjoy Henry Koen Experimental Forest. Lakes are good; South Pond is a lake that's near North Pond.
