Get drenched paddling on Crooked Creek, and a splendid place to camp here at North Fork Lake is M and M Canoe Rentals. Through the warmest time of the year, highs ordinarily are in the 90's at North Fork Lake. Through the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 60's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 50's while North Fork Lake night low temperatures during the       wintertime are in the 20's. All the water falling down from the sky makes North Fork Lake a wet spot; May is when you get the most rain here, and the driest of the months is January. This lake is so wonderful. Camping is available at Ouachita River Haven Resort; whitewater paddling is perfect on Ouachita River. If you love the outdoors you'll love it here in the Ouachita Mountains.
