Be careful coming to the Boston Mountains, you might not ever wanna go back home again. Ned Lake is a beautiful lake in the Boston Mountains. Summertime highs at Ned Lake mostly tend to be in the 90's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. Highs during the wintertime are regularly in the 40's while Ned Lake night low temperatures all through the winter are in the 20's. This lake is so wonderful. Stay the       night at Terry Campgrounds, and after a long day outdoors Residence Inn By Marriott is a pleasant place to spend a night or two. Flat Rock Creek is a good local stream, and Comfort Inn Van Buren is a glorious place to get some rest. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the amusing stuff at Ned Lake. A splendid spot for whitewater paddling in the neighborhood of Ned Lake is Cedar Creek - East Fork, and people from Fort Smith love to come here.                  All the water falling down from the sky makes Ned Lake a wet spot; through the month of May you get the most rain around here, and the driest month of the year is January. Yeah, come up here to the Boston Mountains for a glorious time. You'll discover a scenic lake called Hollis Lake near Ned Lake; get your heart pumping on the tremendous whitewater of Cedar Creek.
