And if that's not sufficient there's lots more entertaining things to do in the Ouachita Mountains. There's so much to do here at Multipurpose Site One Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Queen Wilhelmina State Park is a glorious location for that; there's whitewater on Mill Creek for all you adrenaline junkies. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this place. Lakes are such calm       sites, why not stop at Irons Fork Reservoir close to Multipurpose Site One Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful. If you came to camp Y City Mountain Inn is a great site to do that, and there's some flowing water close by, Gap Creek is a stream you can check out during your stay. Multipurpose Site One Reservoir sees pretty high levels of precipitation; throughout May this area sees the most rain while January is usually the driest month. Near Multipurpose                  Site One Reservoir you find perfect locations like Gap Creek Valley, and a pretty lake like Forbis Lake is a wonderful place to check out. During the summer at Multipurpose Site One Reservoir highs are generally in the 90's, and throughout the night it cools down to the 60's.
