Mott Lake is not far at all from Batesville. Lakes are tremendous; Campbell Lake is a lake that's in the neighborhood of Mott Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Camping is available at Jacksonport State Park; Newport-Days Inn is a good place to get some rest. Enjoy a round of golf at Newport Country Club not far from Mott Lake, and you're probably into lakes, Little Mott Lake is one of those close       by.
