Mott Lake mostly gets a large amount of precipitation; the month with most of the rain is May; the driest month is June. This lake is so wonderful. At Mott Lake you always meet someone from Batesville. There's so much to do here at Mott Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Jacksonport State Park is a perfect location for that.       Mott Lake is not the only location close by, Campbell Lake is a close by lake; since you're here and you like golf, you can go to Newport Country Club. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 90's to Mott Lake, and the night is rather colder of course, generally in the 60's.
