Many people like to go to Morris Lake. Man, is there lots of entertaining things to do in the Boston Mountains. If you need a site to stay Comfort Inn & Suites is a fine choice, and camping at KOA Campgrounds is always a splendid experience. Morris Lake is a wet spot that gets a lot of rain; through May this area sees the most rain, and the driest of the months is January. A good close by hotel is Alma-Days Inn, and there's brilliant hiking along the Shores

Through the days of summer at Morris Lake temperatures are usually in the 90's. Throughout the moonlight hours it's frequently in the 60's. High temperatures during the wintertime are normally in the 40's while the cold winter nights at Morris Lake are in the 20's. While you're here at Morris Lake you will meet lots of people from close by Fort Smith; if you're here, you might as well stop by Bonita Hollow. This lake is so wonderful. | |

Good hiking is available along the Butterfield Hiking Trail, and if you came to camp Alma Koa Kampground is a great place to do that.
This lake is located in the wonderful Boston Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. Drift down
the rapids of Frog Bayou in a kayak. You absolutely ought to fancy the Boston Mountains. If you come at the right time of year, Cedar Creek offers some splendid whitewater, and a short tour to Fine Springs is always worthwhile.
And if that's not enough, there's a lot more to do near Morris Lake. Eagle Crest Golf Course is a splendid golf course nearby, and Morris Lake Dam is a beautiful place.
