At Montgomery Lake Dam near Montgomery Lake there are some out of the ordinary things to see, and Cadron Creek Outfitters is a wonderful local campground. This lake is so wonderful. Why not camp at Woolly Hollow State Park while you're here at Montgomery Lake, and a glorious close by hotel is Quality Inn Conway. This location, the Boston Mountains, has so much outdoors enjoyable       stuff. There are some perfect whitewater spots on Cadron Creek; The Narrows is another fine site to go to close by. Summertime highs at Montgomery Lake generally tend to be in the 90's with overnight lows in the 60's. Through the wintertime this place gets highs in the 40's with temperatures at Montgomery Lake dipping down into the 20's through winter nights. After a long day outdoors Conway Super 8 Motel is a good site to spend a night or two.
