Summer brings highs in the 90's to Mockingbird Hill Lake. For the duration of the moonlight hours it's frequently in the 60's. Through the winter highs are in the 40's, and after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Mockingbird Hill Lake descend into the 20's. And that's not all the things you can do here in the Ouachita Mountains. Mockingbird Hill Lake is splendid       enough to spend more than a day at, Aux Arc - Ozark-St. Francis National Forest is a splendid local campground, and swing by Choate George Branch it's a good place to pop by. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend South Fourche LaFave; Russellville Super 8 Motel is a fine location to get some rest. This is no location for people who don’t like to have a good time. If you get bored of Mockingbird Hill Lake, you could                  also stop by close by Schoonover Lake, and a perfect nearby hotel is Holiday Inn Russellville,Ar. Mockingbird Hill Lake is one of the lakes here in the Ouachita Mountains. Just can't get enough of the Ouachita Mountains. There's whitewater on Galla Creek for all you adrenaline rush seekers, and you'll meet a lot of people from Russellville here. Mockingbird Hill Lake is a quite wet place regularly with a lot of rain; the month of May is the wettest with most of the rain, and January is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful.
