The scenery at Mills Valley Lake Dam right next door to Mills Valley Lake is gorgeous, and whitewater paddling is magnificent on Cadron Creek - East Fork. Mills Valley Lake is fine enough to spend more than a day at, Crystal Springs Campground is a fine local campground, and Best Western Inn is a splendid place to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. A pleasant location to camp here at Mills Valley Lake is Brookwood Village, and golf can be played at Hickory Creek Golf Course & Driving Range. It's a clear lake with lots of grass fairly deep from what I have seen with alot of trees near the bank and off the bank so yo's must work well. You've got to be kidding me... The only time there's enough water in this creek to float would be after a huge storm, at that point we are talking flood stage. Then you are talking about going through the heart of Little Rock, with street overpasses some barely clearing the creek, lots of debris, etc.... |
