Mill Pond is a pretty wet place generally with much rain; all through the month of May you get the most rain around here while January is the month with the least amount of precipitation.       This lake is so wonderful. Caddo River is a nice whitewater spot next to Mill Pond, unsurprisingly you could also visit Kirksey Reservoir while you're here; it's not far at all. This lake is one of the great places here in the Ouachita Mountains. During the warm days of summer at Mill Pond highs are ordinarily in the 90's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. Daytime highs all through the wintertime are in the 40's, and overnight lows through                  the winter for Mill Pond tend to be in the 20's. If only every spot had this much outdoors cool stuff, what a great earth it would be. Stay the night at Arrowhead Cabin and Canoe Rentals, and if you've had enough of Mill Pond, Dwiggins Lake is nearby. Now, you may believe that's a lot but there's even more enjoyable stuff to do here in the Ouachita Mountains. Caddo River Camping and Canoe Rentals is a glorious campground nearby, and Mill Pond Dam is a wonderful place, unquestionably worth taking a look at.
