It's always fun to stop by Mena Lake. All the water falling down from the sky makes Mena Lake a wet spot; through the month of May you get the most rain around here, and January is when it's the driest. Life's too short to enjoy all the amusing stuff near Mena Lake. Lake Mena Dam is an exciting thing to check out; if you need a site to stay Western Plaza Inn is a delightful choice. Mena Lake is a beautiful lake in the Ouachita Mountains.

If you don’t have a problem getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Brushy Creek, and not far from Mena Lake you'll come across Hillcrest Lake which is a delightful lake. This lake
is so wonderful. Queen Wilhelmina State Park is a delightful campground nearby, and if you're a golfer then a good close by course is Mena Golf Club. And if that's not enough there's plenty more entertaining stuff to do in the Ouachita
Mountains. Cossatot River has a pleasant whitewater paddling spot close by. Lakes? Sure, City of Mena Sewage Logoon is close by.
