Much rainfall falls at Meadow Lake; March is when you get the most rain here; January is when it's the driest. All through the summertime highs here at Meadow Lake get into the 90's. Summer nighttime lows plunge down to the 60's. Daytime highs during the wintertime are in the 40's while the cold winter nights at Meadow Lake are in the 20's.       Now, you may imagine that's plenty but there's even more exciting stuff to do here at Meadow Lake. This lake is so wonderful. In case you don’t have a problem getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Salado Creek; Meadow Lake is tremendous enough to spend more than a day at, Speedway RV Park is a tremendous local campground. There are other sites here than Meadow Lake, for example Lake Whitstine, and you'll meet a lot of folks from Batesville                  here. If you need a place to stay Days Inn Newport is a great choice.
