Best Western Scenic Motor Inn is a great place to get some rest; lakes are such calm places, why not stop by Grassy Lake. Much rainfall falls at Meadow Lake; March is when you get the most rain here; January is when it's the driest. All through the summertime highs here at Meadow Lake get into the 90's. Summer nighttime lows plunge down to the 60's. Daytime highs during the wintertime are in the 40's while the cold winter nights at Meadow Lake are in the 20's.

In case you don’t have a problem getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Salado Creek; Meadow Lake is tremendous enough to spend more than a day at, Speedway RV Park is a tremendous local campground. here. If you need a place to stay Days Inn Newport is a great choice. There's so much to do here at Meadow Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Jacksonport State Park is a great location for that.
