McCullough Lake typically gets a lot of precipitation; the month with most of the rain is May, and January meanwhile is the driest month. This is a glorious region for people who like lakes. Bass Lake is a lake close by, and Turkey Mountain Golf Course is a golf course close by. McCullough Lake is a beautiful lake in the Boston Mountains. There's so much to do here at McCullough Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Strawberry River Campground is a nice spot for that, and after a long day outdoors Best Western Village Inn is a nice site to spend a night or two. South Fork. This lake is so wonderful. McCullough Lake Dam is gorgeous and it's close to McCullough Lake; there's whitewater on Spring River for all you adrenaline junkies. Through the summertime here at McCullough Lake, high
temperatures ordinarily get into the 80's. Through the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 60's. For the duration of the winter highs are generally in the 40's; all through the dark hours in the winter at McCullough
Lake temperatures drop to the 10's. All year is a great time in the Boston Mountains if you adore the outdoors. A magnificent nearby hotel is Hillhigh Resort.

This lake sits on Private Property belonging to the Chickasaw Council, Boy Scouts of America. The property is known as Kia Kima Scout Reservation. The property staffed by a full-time ranger and is available year round to Scouts and the occasional community/church groups. The camp is accessible by reservation only.
