Cloud Nine RV Park is a wonderful campground nearby, and a lovely lake like Lake Krislor is a tremendous place to visit. Summer at Masoner Lake comes with high temperatures in the 90's. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 60's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 50's while the cold winter nights at Masoner Lake are in the 20's. Masoner Lake sees pretty high levels of rain; most of the rain       falls during May, and January is the month with the least moisture. So many exciting things to do in the Ouachita Mountains, not enough time. A quick spree to Caney Creek in close proximity to Masoner Lake is a tremendous idea, and a pleasant close by hotel is Econo Lodge Benton. After a long day outdoors Americas Best Inns-Benton is a glorious place to spend a night or two, and paddling on Saline River - North Fork is so much fun. This lake is so wonderful.                  Whitewater paddling is brilliant on Saline River - Alum Fork, and lakes are such peaceful sites, why not take a look at Buffington Lake. There's just no way anyone can get bored here at Masoner Lake. If you came for an overnight stay J B's RV Park and Campground is a good location to camp.
