near Magness Lake is Betty Brown Lake Dam. This lake is so wonderful. There are other sites here than Magness Lake, for example Grisso Lake, and while you're here at Magness Lake, checking out Andrews Bend is a must. Summer at
Magness Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 90's. Summer night lows drop down to the 60's. The winter brings highs down to the 40's while Magness Lake overnight low temperatures through the winter are in the 20's. This
lake is so wonderful. Not far from Magness Lake, you'll come across Betty Brown Lake which is a beautiful lake; whitewater paddling is pleasant on Possum Walk Creek. Magness Lake is a reasonably wet place mostly with a good deal of
rainfall; of all the months in a year March is the one with the most rain while January is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
