Be careful coming to the Boston Mountains, you might not ever want to go back home again. Days Inn Searcy is a glorious site to get       some rest, and do put some time aside to spend at Sulphur Spring while you're here at Magness Lake. That right there is a heap of amusing things already but it goes on, the Boston Mountains has it all. Big Creek has a pleasant whitewater paddling spot close by; Wagon Circle Recreational Vehicle Park is a fine campground nearby. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this place. Visit Canoe Creek if you're here at Magness Lake, and an interesting thing to have a look at                  near Magness Lake is Betty Brown Lake Dam. This lake is so wonderful. There are other sites here than Magness Lake, for example Grisso Lake, and while you're here at Magness Lake, checking out Andrews Bend is a must. Summer at Magness Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 90's. Summer night lows drop down to the 60's. The winter brings highs down to the 40's while Magness Lake overnight low temperatures through the winter are in the 20's. This lake is so wonderful. Not far from Magness Lake, you'll come across Betty Brown Lake which is a beautiful lake; whitewater paddling is pleasant on Possum Walk Creek.
