There are some wonderful whitewater spots on Buffalo River; if you came for an overnight stay Lum's Mountain Guest Ranch is a perfect place to camp. This lake is so wonderful. Visit Bens Branch while you're here at Lower Hurricane Lake, and Dogwood Campground is a nice campground nearby. Lower Hurricane Lake is a relatively wet place mostly with a good deal of rain; the month with most of the rain is May, and January meanwhile       is the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Lower Hurricane Lake you will meet lots of folks from nearby Harrison, and an interesting thing to stop at next to Lower Hurricane Lake is Lower Hurricane Lake Dam. There's whitewater on Big Devil's Fork for all you adrenaline junkies, and at Lower Hurricane Lake you can catch a glimpse of Chinquapin Knob. And that's not all you can do here at Lower Hurricane Lake. Take a hike on the Hideout                  Trail, and a perfect site to have a look at nearby is Hurricane Hollow. The Boston Mountains scenery is always beautiful. You just can't picture the amount of outdoors entertaining things the Boston Mountains has to offer. Not far from Lower Hurricane Lake, you'll come across Sycamore Lake which is a beautiful lake, and you can have a brilliant hiking adventure along the Sulphur Trail. Looking for a delightful trip? Buffalo National River is quite near Lower Hurricane Lake. Throughout the summertime months here at Lower Hurricane Lake, high temperatures commonly get into the 80's. Summer night lows sink down to the 60's. High temperatures throughout the wintertime are normally in the 40's; during the dark hours in the winter at Lower Hurricane Lake temperatures dip to the 20's.
