High temperatures at Looney Lake during the summer are in the 90's. Throughout the moonlight hours it's mostly in the 60's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 40's while the cold winter nights at Looney Lake are in the 10's. Looney Lake is a wonderful place to visit for more than one day, Woody's Canoe Rental and Campground is a wonderful place to camp nearby; after a long day outdoors Days Inn Suites       Pocahontas is a magnificent location to spend a night or two. Dry warm beds await you at Days Inn Doniphan. This lake is so wonderful. Stay the night at Old Davidsonville State Park, and while you're here, you could also visit pretty Wallace Lake. All year is a magnificent time in the Boston Mountains if you adore the outdoors. Dry Creek is a delightful local stream, and do go to Lost Lake, it's a charming lake.
