Sure, Crabtree Lake is nearby; dry warm beds await you at Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites TEXARKANA. What a place this is for outdoors folks. You'll meet a lot of folks from Texarkana here. There's so much to do here at Little Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Shadey Park RV and Trailer Haven is a glorious site for that, and Snake Lake is a brilliant lake close by. Little Pond sees pretty high levels of precipitation; of all the months       in a year December is the one with the most rain, and the driest month of the year is August. High temperatures at Little Pond during the summer months are in the 90's with overnight lows in the 70's. The winter comes with highs in the 50's with temperatures at Little Pond dipping down into the 30's during winter nights. This lake is so wonderful. Stay the night at Sterling Crest RV Park, and there is a nice hiking trail nearby called the Rocky Point Park                  Trail.
