Burlesons Pond is a lake in the vicinity, and after a long day outdoors Americas Best Value Inn and Suites-Shepherd is a splendid place to spend a night or two. T Ricks Campground is a nice local campground; since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always pop by close by Reservoir Number One. During the warm months highs here at Little Pond reach the 90's while nighttime lows are regularly in the       60's. During the wintertime the highs are typically in the 40's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at Little Pond. All the water falling down from the sky makes Little Pond a wet site; most of the rain falls all through May while January is regularly the driest month. There's always Little Pond Dam to pop by near Little Pond, and as expected Collins Creek is a delightful stream that is worth stopping at. Life's too short to enjoy all the cool stuff                  close to Little Pond. This lake is so wonderful.
