A large amount of rain falls at Larkin Lake; most of the rain falls during May, and June is the month with the least moisture. And if that's not enough, there's plenty more to do near Larkin Lake. This lake is so wonderful. This is a good neighborhood for people who like lakes. L'Anguille Lake is a lake in close proximity, and the nice people       of Forrest City like to hang out nearby. High temperatures at Larkin Lake throughout the warmest time of the year are in the 90's. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures sink down into the 70's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 40's with temperatures at Larkin Lake dipping down into the 20's throughout winter nights. There's so much to do here at Larkin Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Maple Flat Campground                  is a glorious site for that, and swamps don’t sound that wonderful but Cow Bayou near Larkin Lake is reasonably wonderful.
