Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Lake Norrell Spillway; Comfort Suites North Little Rock is a good place to get some rest. There are some glorious whitewater spots on Rock Creek, and a charming lake like Willastein Lake is a great spot to stop at. Not far from Lake Valencia you acquire some splendid water scenery at Lake       Valencia Dam, and golf can be played at Country Club of Arkansas Department. And if that's not enough, there's lots more to do near Lake Valencia. Dry warm beds await you at North Little Rock / Maumelle Days Inn, and you can stay the night at Lazy S RV Park. You'll discover a pretty lake called Devoe Lake near Lake Valencia, and you can catch a sight of Cook Mountain from Lake Valencia. This lake is so wonderful. You'll meet a lot of folks from Little                  Rock-North Little Rock here, and Lake Valencia is a nice place to visit for more than one day, Blue Sky RV Park is a nice place to camp nearby. High temperatures at Lake Valencia during the summertime are in the 90's. Summer nighttime lows descend down to the 60's.
