Lake Unico is a lake worth visiting. What a spot this is for outdoors folks. Batesville Super 8 Motel is a wonderful spot to get some rest; if you come at the right time of year, Salado Creek offers some good whitewater. During the summer months highs here at Lake Unico reach the 90's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 60's. The winter comes with highs in the 40's, and winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Lake Unico. There's no way anybody can

| | get bored here in the Boston Mountains. Camping at Lake Unico is great fun, Speedway RV Park is a great local campground; Ramsey Hill is beautiful and can be made out from here.
This lake is so wonderful. Why not have a look at a swamp like Ramsey Slough while you're here at Lake Unico; hey, Miller Creek is a wonderful local stream. Lake Unico is not far at all from Batesville, and splendid water scenery is available at Lock and Dam Number One near Lake | |

Unico. So much cool stuff to do in the Boston Mountains, not sufficient time. Lake Unico is a nice location to camp, Deer Run Park is a nice location, and close to Lake Unico you discover a golf course called Eagle Mountain Golf Course.
A great deal of precipitation falls at Lake Unico; the month with most of the rain is May while January is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Lake Unico is a beautiful lake in the Boston Mountains. If you need a location
to stay Best Western Scenic Motor Inn is a good choice, and there are some great whitewater spots on Wolf Bayou.
This lake is so wonderful.
