Many people like to go to Lake Sherwood. Throughout the months of summer, highs regularly are in the 80's at Lake Sherwood. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 60's. For the duration of the winter highs are in the 40's while Lake Sherwood overnight low temperatures during the wintertime are in the 10's. You just can't picture the amount of outdoors fun things the area near Lake Sherwood has to offer. Whitewater paddling is delightful on Spring River;

| | here at Lake Sherwood you can observe Biggers Hill. So much exciting stuff to do in the Boston Mountains, not sufficient time. Lake Sherwood is a fine location to visit for more than one day, Many Islands Camp is a fine location to camp nearby; Days Inn Hardy is a good place to get some rest.

is in close proximity to Lake Sherwood and is always a diversion to stop by, and since you're here, you could also pop by pretty Lake Thunderbird. Hardy Camper Park is a glorious local campground, and Lake Sherwood Dam is a pretty
site.
This lake is one of the great places here in the Boston Mountains. Near Lake Sherwood you discover great spots like Lloyd Hollow, and dry warm beds await you at Best Western Village Inn. There's no way someone can get bored here in the Boston Mountains. Get covered with water paddling on Spring River - South Fork.
