In case you don’t mind getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Trace Creek. So much entertaining stuff in the Ouachita Mountains, just mind-boggling. Lake Segovia is nice enough to spend more than a day at, Gulpha Gorge Campground is a nice local campground, and after a long day outdoors Hot Springs Village is a great location to spend a night or two. Lake Segovia is a pretty wet place mostly with lots of rainfall;       the month with most of the rain is May, and the driest of the months is January. Life's too short to enjoy all the cool stuff in the Ouachita Mountains. Here at Lake Segovia there are plenty of folks from Hot Springs. Lakes are great; Gross Lake is a lake that's in the neighborhood of Lake Segovia. There's so much to do here at Lake Segovia that you need to camp here for a while, Brookhill Ranch is a perfect place for that, and not far from Lake Segovia                  you obtain some good water scenery at Hot Springs Dam Number Two. For the duration of the days of summer here at Lake Segovia, high temperatures commonly get into the 90's. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 60's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 40's, and night lows at Lake Segovia during the winter frequently fall into the 20's. Visiting Hot Springs National Park is just something you need to do if you haven't yet, and you're possibly interested in lakes, Lake Desoto is one of those close by. Yep, outdoors fun things to do are beyond doubt plentiful here at Lake Segovia. Short Mountain is clearly visible from Lake Segovia, and if you need a spot to stay Escapes to Hot Springs Village is a good choice. This lake is located in the wonderful Ouachita Mountains. This lake is so wonderful.
