This is a tremendous neighborhood for people who like lakes. Lodge Lake is a lake in close proximity, and float down the rapids of Spring River - South Fork in a kayak. The high level of precipitation makes Lake Pioneer a quite wet location; the wettest month of the year is commonly May, that's the one that rains the most, and January is the month with the least moisture. Hillhigh Resort is a pleasant location to get some rest, and       if you come at the right time of year, Strawberry River offers some brilliant whitewater. If only every site had this much outdoors entertaining things, what a great globe it would be. Turkey Mountain Golf Course is a golf course in the neighborhood of Lake Pioneer, and camping is available at New Horizon RV Park. For the duration of the summer months here at Lake Pioneer, high temperatures frequently reach the 80's while overnight lows are generally in the 60's.
