This lake is so wonderful. This is a tremendous neighborhood for people who like lakes. Lodge Lake is a lake in close proximity, and float down the rapids of Spring River - South Fork in a kayak. The high level of precipitation makes Lake Pioneer a quite wet location; the wettest month of the year is commonly May, that's the one that rains the most, and January is the month with the least moisture. This lake sits on Private Property belonging to the Chickasaw Council, Boy Scouts of America. The property is known as Kia Kima Scout Reservation. The property staffed by a full-time ranger and is available year round to Scouts and the occasional community/church groups. The camp is accessible by reservation only.
