The beauty of Lake Ozone attracts many people from all around. This lake is located in the wonderful Boston Mountains. Lake Ozone in fact is in the middle of a charming outdoors paradise. Camping at Horsehead Lake Campground and Picnic Area is always a good experience. Take a hike on the Boston Cutoff; Hickory Flat is a striking spot any time of year. Soar down the rapids of Little Piney Creek in a kayak, and hiking along the Turkey Trail is brilliant

| | fun. A large amount of precipitation falls at Lake Ozone; May is the month that gets the most rain while January is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful. A lake nearby is Holloway Pond, and Lake Ozone is good enough to spend more than a day at, Dad's Dream RV Park is a good local campground. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Boston Mountains. and since you're here, do take a spree to Dow Point. This lake is so wonderful. Lake Ozone is right by the Peggy Steep Trail, and Lake Ozone Dam is a location that is next to Lake Ozone. Dry warm beds await you at Comfort Inn Clarksville,
and a good site is Graveyard Hollow. But wait, there's more fun things to do in the Boston Mountains. If you come at the right time of year, Big Piney Creek offers some fine whitewater; after a long day outdoors SUPER 8 MOTEL
- CLARKSVILLE is a great place to spend a night or two. What a spot this is for outdoors folks. The beauty of mother nature reveals herself at Cazort Springs, and the top of Ozone Mountain is easily seen from Lake Ozone. High temperatures
at Lake Ozone through the warm days of summer are in the 90's. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 60's. Daytime highs during the wintertime are in the 40's, and after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at Lake Ozone sink into the 20's.

Alum Cove National Recreation Trail
 | 17 miles away 2 PHOTOS On the trail... The trail below the natural bridge is covered in dead trees due to the winter ice storm. The trailhead down to the bridge has been cleared. Memorial Day weekend 2009.
Other than that, the trail offers sandstone caves, wet weather waterfall, small stream, and one of the largest natural bridges in the country. You actually walk across the bridge and follow the trail underneath for a panoramic view of the bridge. Very easy hike!... Some of my extended family and I went out over the weekend of 1/17/2009 for a birthday get-away for a nephew. We stayed in an awesome cabin.
