Be careful coming to Lake Ozone, you might not ever want to go home again. Get your pulse rate up on the great whitewater of Big Piney Creek, and going for a hike along the Turkey Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity. This lake is so wonderful. Quality Inn & Suites Clarksville is a delightful site to get some rest, and there's whitewater on Little Piney Creek for all you adrenaline junkies. All the outdoors amusing things in the Boston

| | Mountains will keep you coming back repeatedly. You're probably interested in lakes, Holloway Pond is one of those nearby, and you can have a delightful hiking adventure along the Boston Cutoff. Graveyard Hollow is a delightful spot to spend some time at, and if the weather is delightful, you get a nice view of Ozone Mountain from Lake Ozone. and hiking along the Peggy Steep Trail is wonderful fun. Lake Ozone sees pretty high levels of precipitation; most of the rain falls throughout May while January is ordinarily the driest month. If you want a good time in the great
outdoors, just come on down to Lake Ozone. A glorious nearby hotel is SUPER 8 MOTEL - CLARKSVILLE. Why not visit Dow Point also since you're here; Lake Ozone Dam is a location that is in the vicinity of Lake Ozone. Lake Ozone is located
in the Boston Mountains. This is a perfect region for folks who like lakes. Lake Ludwig is a lake in the vicinity; you can stay the night at Horsehead Lake Campground and Picnic Area. During the warm days of summer at Lake Ozone
highs are mostly in the 90's, and all through summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 40's, and during the dark hours in the wintertime at Lake Ozone temperatures dip to the 20's. This lake
is so wonderful. While you're here at Lake Ozone it's a great idea to explore Hickory Flat, and Lake Ozone is a magnificent location to visit for more than one day, Dad's Dream RV Park is a magnificent location to camp nearby.

Alum Cove National Recreation Trail
 | 17 miles away 2 PHOTOS On the trail... The trail below the natural bridge is covered in dead trees due to the winter ice storm. The trailhead down to the bridge has been cleared. Memorial Day weekend 2009.
Other than that, the trail offers sandstone caves, wet weather waterfall, small stream, and one of the largest natural bridges in the country. You actually walk across the bridge and follow the trail underneath for a panoramic view of the bridge. Very easy hike!... Some of my extended family and I went out over the weekend of 1/17/2009 for a birthday get-away for a nephew. We stayed in an awesome cabin.
