This lake is so wonderful. There are some wonderful whitewater spots on Cedar Creek; you can take a little tour to Lake Overcup Dam while you're here at Lake Overcup. Lake Overcup gets a good deal of water; May is when you get the most rain here, and January on the other hand is the driest. Yep, outdoors entertaining stuff truly is abundant here in the Boston Mountains. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but       if it's for you then we recommend Cove Creek; if you came for an overnight stay Morrilton Koa Kampground is a brilliant place to camp. The Boston Mountains scenery is always beautiful. Now, you may assume that's lots but there's even more cool stuff to do here at Lake Overcup. High temperatures at Lake Overcup during the long summer days are in the 90's. Throughout the moonlight hours it's mostly in the 60's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 40's,                  and night lows in the 20's for Lake Overcup. Some nearby water includes Caney Creek; Lewisburg Bay RV Park is a nice local campground.
