A beautiful lake like Lake Aztec in the neighborhood of Lake Omaha is a splendid site to visit; a magnificent spot for whitewater paddling is Spring River. So much cool stuff to do at Lake Omaha, so little time. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Lake Omaha has to offer, you can camp at Mammoth Spring Resort, and Days Inn Hardy is a magnificent place to get some rest. If you're here, you might as well visit Hubble Hollow,       and don't leave Lake Omaha without first paying a visit to Roaring Springs. Lots of precipitation falls at Lake Omaha; May is when you get the most rain here, and January is when it's the driest. And if that's not sufficient there's lots more fun stuff to do in the Boston Mountains. Very nice water scenery is available at Lake Omaha Dam near Lake Omaha; get your heart pumping on the great whitewater of Spring River - South Fork. Now, you may think that's heaps                  but there's even more fun stuff to do here in the Boston Mountains. There's so much to do here at Lake Omaha that you need to camp here for a while, Hardy Camper Park is a perfect site for that. Lake Omaha is a beautiful lake in the Boston Mountains. High temperatures at Lake Omaha during the months of summer are in the 80's while overnight lows are frequently in the 60's. Through the winter highs are ordinarily in the 40's while Lake Omaha nighttime low temperatures during the winter are in the 10's.
