The wintertime comes with highs in the 40's, and winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Lake Number 20. Man, is there plenty of amusing stuff to do in the Boston Mountains. The top of Mill Creek Mountain is easily seen from Lake Number 20, and Lake Number 22 is a great lake nearby. Whohoo, so many amusing things in one place! Lake Number 20 rules!       A wonderful lake like Sixmile Creek Site 21 Reservoir next to Lake Number 20 is a glorious spot to take a look at; if you came for an overnight stay Alma RV Park is a great place to camp. Camping is available at Shores Lake Campground, and after a long day outdoors Days Inn Alma is a splendid spot to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. If you come at the right time of year, Little Mill Creek offers some delightful whitewater, and a great nearby hotel                  is Days Inn Ozark. Lake Number 20 is a wet site that gets a lot of precipitation; May is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest month is January. You absolutely must love the Boston Mountains. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Hurricane Creek; great hiking is available along the Shores Lake Water Rock Spur.
