Lake Mirandy is a great spot to visit for more than one day, Many Islands Camp is a great spot to camp nearby, and there are some wonderful whitewater spots on Spring River - South Fork. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Spring River; Wild Plum Lake is a brilliant lake close by. I don't want to stop, cause I'm havin' a brilliant time here at Lake       Mirandy. Lake Mirandy is close to Lake Mirandy Dam which is a delightful site positively worth going to, and if you need a spot to stay Best Western Village Inn is a wonderful choice. High temperatures at Lake Mirandy all through the summer are in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures dip down into the 60's. Daytime highs all through the winter are in the 40's, and night lows in the 10's for Lake Mirandy. Lake Mirandy ordinarily gets a good deal of                  precipitation; the wettest month of the year is ordinarily May, that's the one that rains the most, and January is when it's the driest. All the outdoors amusing stuff in the Boston Mountains will keep you coming back again and again. Hardy Camper Park is a delightful campground nearby, and obviously Big Otter Creek flows through this area. Yeah, come up here to the Boston Mountains for a wonderful time. This lake is so wonderful. A nice nearby hotel is Days Inn Hardy. Lakes?
