But wait, there's more exciting stuff to do in the Boston Mountains. If you're here at Lake Ludwig, you could pop by Basham Creek; Little Piney Creek has a good whitewater paddling spot nearby. Summertime highs at Lake Ludwig regularly tend to be in the 90's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. For the duration of the winter the highs are usually in the 40's, and nighttime lows throughout the winter for Lake Ludwig tend to be in the 20's. This

Be careful coming to Lake Ludwig, you might not ever wanna go back home again. This is a great neighborhood
for folks who like lakes. Lake Ozone is a lake close at hand, and if you need a site to stay SUPER 8 MOTEL - CLARKSVILLE is a glorious choice. Near Lake Ludwig you find the Boston Cutoff which is a wonderful hiking trail, and if you're
hooked on cool geologic characteristics try Feltner Bluff. Lake Ludwig sees pretty high levels of rain; the month with most of the rain is May while January is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
If the weather is
good here at Lake Ludwig, you can go for a hike along the Peggy Steep Trail, and Lake Ludwig is magnificent enough to spend more than a day at, Dad's Dream RV Park is a magnificent local campground. This lake is so wonderful. The
scenery at Ludwig Lake Dam close to Lake Ludwig is pretty; paddling on Horsehead Creek - West Fork is so much fun. A great location to camp here at Lake Ludwig is Horsehead Lake Campground and Picnic Area, and Kings Canyon is another wonderful place to explore close by.
