A short tour to Cedar Falls is always worthwhile, and this is a popular spot for folks from Russellville. High temperatures at Lake Lucy all through the warm months are in the 90's. When the night sets in temperatures sink down into the 60's. Through the wintertime this place gets highs in the 40's with temperatures at Lake Lucy dipping down into the 20's through winter nights. This lake is so wonderful. Float down the       rapids of Galla Creek in a kayak, and dry warm beds await you at Tanyard Springs Resort & Conference Center. You can take a little spree to Lake Lucy Dam while you're here at Lake Lucy, and a lake nearby is Lake Abby. Man, is there a heap of exciting stuff to do near Lake Lucy. A trip to Crane Island revitalizes the soul; do stop by Galla Creek if you're here at Lake Lucy. All the water falling down from the sky makes Lake Lucy a wet place; the month of                  May is the wettest with most of the rain, and January meanwhile is the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Bells Chapel Bait Shop and RV is always a splendid experience, and paddling on Cedar Creek is so much fun.
