In case you don’t mind getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Galla Creek; Lake Lucy Dam is not far at all from Lake Lucy. The high level of rain makes Lake Lucy a quite wet place; May is when you get the most rain here; the driest month of the year is January. There's so much to do here at Lake Lucy       that you need to camp here for a while, Bells Chapel Bait Shop and RV is a great location for that, needless to say you could also visit Lake Jeannette if you're here; it's not far at all. This lake is so wonderful. Looking for something right next door to Lake Lucy? Lake George is in the vicinity. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Days Inn Morrilton is a tremendous site to spend a night or two, and a visit to Crane Island revitalizes                  the spirit. There's just no way anybody can get bored here at Lake Lucy. Through the months of summer at Lake Lucy temperatures are commonly in the 90's, and through the night it cools down to the 60's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 40's, and during the dark hours in the wintertime at Lake Lucy temperatures drop to the 20's.
