At Lake Leatherwood throughout the months of summer highs are in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures plunge down into the 60's. Through the wintertime this place gets highs in the 40's; throughout the dark hours in the winter at Lake Leatherwood temperatures descend to the 10's. Life's too short to enjoy all the exciting things in the Ozarks. If you come at the right time of year, Kings River offers some       perfect whitewater, and you can go for a hike on the Siloam Spring Trail. After a long day outdoors 1876 Inn & Restaurant is a great location to spend a night or two, and a cool spot to visit is Pivot Rock. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a place to stay 1886 Crescent Hotel & Spa is a pleasant choice, and if you came to camp Pine Haven Campground is a nice place to do that. This lake is so wonderful. Lake Leatherwood is one of the lakes here in the Ozarks.                  All the water falling down from the sky makes Lake Leatherwood a wet place; through the month of June you get the most rain around here, and January meanwhile is the driest month. If you want a wonderful time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Lake Leatherwood. Glide down the rapids of Roaring River in a kayak, and brilliant hiking is available along the Piney Creek Trail. All year is a good time in the Ozarks if you fancy the outdoors. Lake Leatherwood is brilliant enough to spend more than a day at, Beaver Town Of RV Park and Camp is a brilliant local campground; hey, Leatherwood Creek is a magnificent local stream.
