This place, Lake Jeannette, it just has so much outdoors entertaining stuff. Lakes are wonderful; Lake Abby is a lake that's near Lake Jeannette, and Lake Jeannette is splendid enough to spend more than a day at, Coffee Creek Landing and Motel is a splendid local campground. You'll meet a lot of folks from Russellville here, and in case you don’t have a problem getting covered with water, you       can always go whitewater paddling on Galla Creek. This lake is so wonderful. Petit Jean State Park is a good place to get some rest, and do put some time aside to spend at Cedar Falls since you're here at Lake Jeannette. Lake Jeannette is a wet location that gets a good deal of rainfall; the wettest month of the year is ordinarily May, that's the one that rains the most while January is commonly the driest month. If you need a place to stay Tanyard Springs                  Resort & Conference Center is a great choice, and Crane Island is a great place to check out. Cedar Creek is a splendid whitewater spot close to Lake Jeannette. During the summertime months at Lake Jeannette temperatures are frequently in the 90's with overnight lows in the 60's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 40's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at Lake Jeannette. Not far from Lake Jeannette you get some great water scenery at Lake Jeannette Dam.
