There's so much to do here at Lake Irvin that you need to camp here for a while, Aux Arc - Ozark-St. Francis National Forest is a wonderful spot for that. There's just no way somebody can get bored here at Lake Irvin. Visit Whig Creek while you're here at Lake Irvin, and whitewater paddling is splendid on Galla Creek. A lovely       lake like Flagg Lake near Lake Irvin is a magnificent spot to pop by, and for you golfers we recommend nearby Galla Creek Golf Course. Do have a look at Holla Bend in close proximity to Lake Irvin, it's a gorgeous lake, and after a long day outdoors Quality Inn Russellville is a fine site to spend a night or two. For the duration of the summer months here at Lake Irvin, high temperatures mostly get into the 90's, and during summer nights temperatures are in                  the 60's. All through the wintertime highs are usually in the 40's; overnight lows at Lake Irvin throughout the wintertime ordinarily sink into the 20's. You'll meet a lot of people from Russellville here; you can stay the night at Lake Dardanelle State Park.
