So many cool things in the vicinity of Lake Hinkle, truly tremendous. You're sure to come across some cheerful people from Fort Smith here, unsurprisingly you could also stop by Poteau River Site 13 Lake while you're here; it's not far at all. This spot, the Ouachita Mountains, has so much outdoors exciting stuff. This lake       is so wonderful. If you came to camp Y City Mountain Inn is a good place to do that; whitewater paddling is splendid on Big Creek. Brushy Hollow is next to Lake Hinkle and is positively a wonderful place to have a look at; Mill Creek has a good whitewater paddling spot close by. Nearby lakes? Sure, Poteau River Site 14 Lake is in close proximity to Lake Hinkle; places like Dogwood Flats are magnificent to explore. If you love the outdoors you'll love it here                  in the Ouachita Mountains. There's so much to do here at Lake Hinkle that you need to camp here for a while, Rich Mountain Country Store is a good place for that; since you're here, you could stop by Denton Creek. This lake is one of the great places here in the Ouachita Mountains. High temperatures at Lake Hinkle through the warm months are in the 90's, and throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 70's.
