Lake George is a brilliant place to camp, Coffee Creek Landing and Motel is a brilliant place, and a pleasant spree to Crane Island is a perfect way to spend an afternoon. Lake Jeannette Dam is not far at all from Lake George, and there's whitewater on Galla Creek for all you adrenaline rush seekers. This lake is so wonderful. There are some nice whitewater spots on Cedar Creek, and a tour to Cedar       Falls will fill your spirit with great feelings. During the warmest time of the year, highs ordinarily are in the 90's at Lake George. For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures sink down into the 60's. High temperatures through the winter are normally in the 40's, and after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Lake George dip into the 20's. This lake is so wonderful. Bells Chapel Bait Shop and RV is a magnificent campground here,                  and dry warm beds await you at Petit Jean State Park. After a long day outdoors Tanyard Springs Resort & Conference Center is a great place to spend a night or two, and since you're here you will meet lots of people from nearby Russellville. A good deal of precipitation falls at Lake George; through the month of May you get the most rain around here, and the driest month is January. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors cool stuff the area close to Lake George has to offer. Looking for some flowing water?
