Lake Frances is good enough to spend more than a day at, Greentree RV is a good local campground, and there's whitewater on Illinois River for all you adrenaline kick people. After a long day outdoors Best Western Stateline Lodge is a delightful place to spend a night or two, and lakes are such calm spots, why not explore Perry Williams Reservoir. And that's not all       you can do here at Lake Frances. Why not visit Frances Dam if you're here, and let's not forget Ballard Creek which is a stream that you may run into while here. And if that's not sufficient there's lots more entertaining things to do in the Ozarks. Dry warm beds await you at Super 8 Motel - Siloam Springs; there's great hiking along the Weddington Hiking Trail. Camping at Baron Fork Creek Campground is always a glorious experience, and if you're a golfer                  then a magnificent close by course is Siloam Springs Country Club. Throughout the months of summer at Lake Frances temperatures are ordinarily in the 90's. Through the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 60's. The winter brings highs down to the 40's with temperatures at Lake Frances dipping down into the 20's through winter nights. A lot of precipitation falls at Lake Frances; September is the month that gets the most rain while January is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
