Just can't get enough of the Ouachita Mountains. Lake Florence is not the only location close by, Green Bear Lake is a close by lake, and if you need a place to stay Embassy Suites Little Rock is a wonderful choice. And that's not all there is to do here in the Ouachita Mountains. People from Little       Rock-North Little Rock love to come to Lake Florence, and a pleasant nearby hotel is TownePlace Suites Little Rock West. Lake Florence usually gets a large amount of rainfall; through the month of May you get the most rain around here, and January on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Camping is available at Pfeifer Camp; if you come at the right time of year, Rock Creek offers some wonderful whitewater. If you want a delightful time                  in the great outdoors, just come on down to Lake Florence. The views at Hot Springs National Park will blow your mind, and a spree to Lake Florence wouldn't be complete without taking a look at Deleon Spring. The warmest time of the year at Lake Florence arrives with high temperatures in the 90's. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 60's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 50's with temperatures at Lake Florence dipping down into the 20's throughout winter nights. Why not camp at Salem Pines Mobile Home Park since you're here at Lake Florence, and Florence Dam is an exciting thing to check out. This lake is located in the wonderful Ouachita Mountains.
