Get yourself into a kayak and hit Saline River - Middle Fork; Hot Springs National Park is one of the destinations that are good to take a look at close by. There are some magnificent whitewater spots on Gulpha Creek; while you're here you will meet lots of people from nearby Hot Springs. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a location to stay Escapes to Hot Springs       Village is a glorious choice, and Lake Coronado is wonderful enough to spend more than a day at, Brookhill Ranch is a wonderful local campground. And that's not all you can do here at Lake Coronado. Lake Lago is a nearby lake that you could stop by, and Hot Springs Village is a fine place to get some rest. Lake Coronado is one of the lakes here in the Ouachita Mountains. If you get bored of Lake Coronado, you could also visit nearby Lake Cortez, and camping                  at Cloud Nine RV Park is always a perfect experience. That right there is a lot of entertaining stuff already but it goes on, the Ouachita Mountains has it all. Lake Coronado Dam is worth going to if you're here. Lake Coronado frequently gets a lot of rain; during May this area sees the most rain, and the driest month of the year is January. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 90's to Lake Coronado. When the night sets in temperatures sink down into the 60's.
