Lake Cherokee is in the neighborhood of Ray Hollow which is absolutely worth taking a look at; do put some time aside to spend at Dan Henry Spring since you're here at Lake Cherokee. Be       careful coming to Lake Cherokee, you might not ever wanna return back home again. You don’t have to go far from Lake Cherokee to catch a glimpse of the water at Lake Cherokee Dam, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always check out nearby Lake Thunderbird. Lake Cherokee is a wet place that gets a lot of precipitation; the month of May is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest month of the year is January.
