This lake is so wonderful. Lake Cherokee is a splendid spot to visit for more than one day, Many Islands Camp is a splendid spot to camp nearby, and Lake Thunderbird is a nearby lake that you could explore. Lake Cherokee Dam is beautiful and it's in the vicinity of Lake Cherokee, and naturally Big Otter Creek flows through this area. Hardy Camper Park is a good local campground; a perfect location to go to       close by is Ray Hollow. This lake is so wonderful. A great deal of rain falls at Lake Cherokee; May is the month that gets the most rain while January is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Yeah, come up here to the Boston Mountains for a great time. A lake close by is Lake Sequoyah; you can run the rapids of Spring River - South Fork. You believe that's enough? Just getting warmed up.
