| | thing to check out. The high level of precipitation makes Lake Chanute a rather wet place; May is when you get the most rain here while January is the month with the least amount of precipitation.

temperatures usually get into the 80's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. Throughout the wintertime this place gets highs in the 40's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Lake Chanute. If you come at
the right time of year, Spring River offers some tremendous whitewater; a tremendous place to go to close by is Hubble Hollow.
This lake is so wonderful. This lake is so wonderful. Some of the water close by flows, like Right
Prong Otter Creek. There's so much to do here at Lake Chanute that you need to camp here for a while, Hardy Camper Park is a pleasant spot for that. Nearby lakes? Sure, Lake Aztec is in the vicinity of Lake Chanute, and after a long
day outdoors Days Inn Hardy is a great spot to spend a night or two.
