The warmest time of the year at Lake Cecil arrives with high temperatures in the 80's. Summer overnight lows fall down to the 60's. The winter comes with highs in the 40's while the cold winter nights at Lake Cecil are in the 10's. Lake Cecil is a beautiful lake in the Boston Mountains. Tally Ho Motel is a splendid place to get some rest, and Lake Cecil is splendid enough to spend more than a day at, Riverside Campground       and Canoe is a splendid local campground. Any time is a great time at Lake Cecil if you like the outdoors. There's some flowing water nearby, Field Creek is a stream you can go to while here; glide down the rapids of Spring River - South Fork in a kayak. A tour to Cold Spring will fill your soul with delightful feelings; if you're here why not check out Long Run Hollow. Lake Cecil sees pretty high levels of rain; March is the month that gets the most rain,                  and the driest month is January. But wait, there's more cool stuff to do in the Boston Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Spring River Oak Campground is always a great experience; Cecil Lake Dam is a location that is near Lake Cecil. Having a splendid time in the Boston Mountains is simple.
