This lake is so wonderful. Through the warmest time of the year, highs mostly are in the 80's at Lake Cecil while overnight lows are commonly in the 60's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 40's, and during the dark hours in the winter at Lake Cecil temperatures descend to the 10's. And if that's not sufficient there's a heap more amusing things to do in the Boston Mountains. If you came to camp Spring River Oak Campground       is a good site to do that, and a lake close by is Rainbow Lake. The high level of rainfall makes Lake Cecil a rather wet spot; the wettest month of the year is generally March, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest of the months is January. Any time is a splendid time at Lake Cecil if you love the outdoors. Long Run Hollow is near Lake Cecil and is certainly a great place to take a look at. There's so much to do here at Lake Cecil that you need                  to camp here for a while, Riverside Campground and Canoe is a delightful place for that. A trip to Cold Spring will fill your spirit with splendid feelings, and if you come at the right time of year, Spring River - South Fork offers some splendid whitewater. Now, you may imagine that's a load but there's even more entertaining stuff to do here in the Boston Mountains. Camp Kia Kima Lake is a nearby lake that you could pop by, and if you need a spot to stay Days Inn Hardy is a tremendous choice. This lake is located in the wonderful Boston Mountains. At Cecil Lake Dam in close proximity to Lake Cecil there are some exciting things to see; get yourself into a kayak and hit Spring River. This lake is so wonderful.
