Lake Brown is a wet place that gets a lot of rainfall; of all the months in a year May is the one with the most rain, and January is when it's the driest. This lake is one of the great places here in the Boston Mountains. But wait, there's more to do near Lake Brown. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Cottonwood Inn; get your pulse rate up on the pleasant whitewater of Spring River -       South Fork. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Lake Brown. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 60's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 40's with temperatures at Lake Brown dipping down into the 10's through winter nights. Razorback Motel is a great site to get some rest, and playing golf is lots of fun at Turkey Mountain Golf Course. You can run the rapids of Spring River in the vicinity of Lake Brown. There's so much to do here                  at Lake Brown that you need to camp here for a while, Boxhound Marina and Resort is a splendid site for that. Just can't get enough of the Boston Mountains.
